Memorial Pius Branzeu in Timisoara, Romania

The University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Victor Babes”, Students Chess Club Medicina, Local Council Timisoara and Regional Chess Association Timis organise the International Open “Memorial Pius Branzeu 2012” on 10-16th December in Timisoara, Romania.

The tournament format is 9-round Swiss. Players list is bellow.

Top prizes: Place I – 4000 lei ; Place II – 2500 lei ; Place III – 1500 lei ; Place IV – 1200 lei ; Place V – 1000 lei ; Place VI – 800 lei ; Place VII – 700 lei ; Place VIII – 600 lei .
Women’s prizes: Place I – 1500 lei ; Place II – 1200 lei ; Place III – 1000 lei ; Place IV – 800 lei ; Place V – 600 lei.
