The big news is that GM Magnus Carlsen will participate in the tournament. The teams are Offerspill (2334), Nordstrand (2248), Bergens (2204), SK 1911 (2334), Alta (2258), Porsgrunn Superkraft (2313), Hell (2246), Oslo Schakselskap (OSS) (2449), Vålerenga (2308), Asker (2305).
