The time control is 90 minutes plus a 30 seconds increment starting from move one. The tournament system is 10-round Swiss and more than 380 players are registered, among them are Azer Mirzoev, Chakkravarthy J. Deepan, V S Raahul, Alexander Fominyh, Chinthaka Anuruddh Galappaththi, G W D M Dabarera, Y Saranya, K P R N Samaranayake, Halder Sneha, Diajeng Theresa Singgih, etc.
