Radjabov asks: Is it Ding Li-ren or Ding Li-Zhen? #TweetOftheDay

Teimour Radjabov seems to be in a good mood after yesterday’s victory over Richard Rapport and overall 3rd place in the 2022 FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament. He first entertained the fans with a tweet announcing his first chess conference after three years, and then asked a question we were all thought about: “I asked Ding directly, what is the right way to pronounce? Li-ren or Li-Zhen, I asked him exactly this, pronouncing both. He looked at me and said: I don’t see any difference between the two, when you pronounce them. Thus creating more confusion for years to come!“.
