Russian / Kyrgyz proposal rejected by the FIDE General Assembly

In day 1 of the FIDE General Assembly Yolander Persaud elected FIDE Ethics Commission Chairman in a dramatic day that was called the first crucial election which Russia loses in the last 30 years

Today is the day of the discussion and voting of the Russian/Kyrgyz proposal to reinstate Russian and Belarusian Chess Federations

The delegates were asked to vote for 3 options:

Option 1 – (Updated) Russian/Kyrgyz proposal is rejected. FIDE to consult with IOC if restrictions will be re-considered for disabled children U12
Option 2 – Russian/Kyrgyz proposal is rejected. Keep in force all current restrictions
Option 3 – Lift all the restrictions
