Schachbundesliga – 4th and 5th round on 19-20 November 2011

SchachbundesligaAt 19th and 20th of November the 4th and 5th round of the Schachbundesliga will take place. Take a look at the pairings at the venues Hockenheim, Dortmund, Solingen and Berlin-Tegel.

The top match of the weekend will take place in Solingen where the host will meet the German champion of the last six years, OSG Baden-Baden. Baden-Baden lost one match at the beginning of the season against Mülheim and is willing not to allow any further surprises.

Playing venue: Stadtsparkasse Solingen, Kölner Str. 72, 42651 Solingen

4th round: Saturday, 19th of November 2011, 2pm

5th round: Sunday, 20th of November 2011, 10 am

One of the best players in the history of chess will attend the matches in Hockenheim. Anatoly Karpov is a member of the host team and will be present during the 4th and 5th round. The matches will take place at the Hockenheim-Ring where normally motorsport events are organized. All four teams are considered to be of nearly equal strength, so that close fights can be expected.

In Dortmund the most interesting match will take place on Sunday. Wattenscheid – top of the table after three rounds – encounters Werder Bremen.

In Berlin all four teams are considered to fight this season against relegation. In this regard every encounter is of high importance.
