The first IO Seminar will be held in Moscow

The first IO Seminar will be held in Moscow during the Moscow Chess Open, from 29th to 31st January 2012, at the Russian State Social University.

Objective is to educate and certify Organizers on an international basis. This FIDE Organizers’ Seminar for FIDE Organizer Title Diploma is approved by FIDE and the FIDE Events’ Commission (EVE).

The seminar is co-organised during the Moscow Chess Open by the FIDE, the FIDE Events’ Commission (EVE), the Russian State Social University (RSSU) the Moscow Chess Federation with the support of the Russian Chess Federation

FIDE/EVE will award the title of IO under the following conditions:

FIDE International organizer (FIO)

A. Scope / Mission:
To get the FIDE license for the organisation of FIDE, Continental and International tournaments.

B. Qualification / Professional Skills Requirements:
a. EVE seminar norm.
b. Proof of Experience (3 International or National tournaments at least, one of them should be min 100 players with 5 different federations)
c. At least 2 languages

The tournaments can be organized and after the seminar. The title awarded after the
completion of the necessary tournaments.

C. Title Award:
a. By successful participation in a EVE Seminar.
b. Completion of required tournaments.

Lecturers: The program will be fulfilled by International Organizer & FM Theodoros Tsorbatzoglou. The lectures were prepared by Events Commission Members.
