Train your mind’s eye with chess

Research shows that targeting different brain functions with many different engaging and adaptively difficult chess exercises can improve overall tactics. Chessity’s training is directed towards these models, and is based on memorization of key concepts and positions. These key positions eventually become your ‘instant memory’.

The new game planner for the mind’s eye

If you lose games by hanging pieces, the new game route planner of Chessity is something for you! With this game you learn to have a better control of the potential of the pieces and you will improve your board visualization skill. It’s all about the way you visualize the movements of the pieces in your mind’s eye.

Route planner The rules of the game

  • Your goal is to give check with the white piece on the board. Only the shortest solution counts.
  • Only white (you) will move a piece.
  • You are not allowed to place your piece on a square where it can be captured.
  • You are allowed to capture undefended black pieces.

How you can find the route

  • First spot the square to check the king! A3 is the square in this position. Then find the route to the checking (a3) square!
  • Play the moves!
  • 1. Bc1 — 2. Ba3+ 1-0

More improvements at Chessity

The Chessity game platform keeps on developing. Besides the new route planner, more additions have been made. Now the puzzle forum has been separated from the cafe chat and you can see your own puzzle comments in the cafe. There is also improved quality and functionality of the puzzles.

The chess tactics have been upgraded, so that you can play for your own Elo or Game point records.
