4th ESNA European Small Nations Individual Chess Championship 2022

The 4th ESNA European Small Nations Individual Chess Championship 2022 will be held from 24th September – 2nd October 2022 in the Principality of Liechtenstein with the support of the European Chess Union.

Federations participating in the event are as follows (alphabetical order): Andorra, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco and San Marino. Each federation shall select one player who will compete in the Championship which will be played in 9 rounds, round-robin system. The time control is: 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus 30 seconds increment for every move played starting from the first move.

The Playing Hall will be the Vadozner Huus in the center of Vaduz with all the required commodities.

The federations should complete the registration form for their player and accompanying persons through the www.schach.li/esna. The registration deadline for players and accompanying persons is June 30th, 2022.

Last year, 2021 Liechtenstein Chess Federation celebrated its 50th anniversary since its funding.
