World No 9, GM Anish Giri announced today that he will do daily recaps on the 2022 FIDE Candidates Tournament. Giri was one of the favorites to qualify for the Candidates, but didn’t make it after the series of qualification events. He yesterday published the video analyzing the game he played against a chess hustler on Barcelona’s streets, and this weekend will compete in the European Corporate Chess Championship 2022 with Optiver 1 team.
