The Asian Girls Chess Championship 2024 tournament is taking place from October 13 to October 19 in Tagaytay, Philippines. The gold medalist shall receive a GM/WGM norm. Equal first (top 3 players after tie breaks) shall receive the title of IM/WIM, silver and bronze medalists receive IM/WIM norms and FM/WFM titles in accordance with FIDE title regulations. The event has 21 players competing in 9 rounds Swiss. The top participants include WIM G Tejaswini, WIM Anna Shukhman, WIM Zeinep Sultanbek, WFM Devindya Oshini Gunawardhana, WFM Kristina Popandopulo, Halder Sneha .
