Corrales and Zierk share first in Boston Chess Congress

The 3rd Annual Boston Chess Congress was held from January 9-11, 2015, at the Hyatt Harborside at Logan Airport, 101 Harborside Dr, Boston, Massachusetts.

The 5-round Swiss event had 6 sections: Premier, Under 2100, Under 1900, Under 1700, Under 1500 and Under 1300.

35 players competed in the main Premier section. GM Fidel Corrales Jimenez of the Webster team and former World U18 Champion IM Steven Zierk shared the first place with 4,5/5 points each. Corrales is declared winner on better tie-break.
