FIDE Women Grand Prix Tashkent – Koneru with perfect score

Indian Grandmaster and top seed Humpy Koneru had a flying start with three straight victories in the FIDE Women Grand Prix that is currently ongoing in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Koneru defeated Ju Wenjun, Elina Danielian and then performed a nice positional squeeze against former world champion Alexandra Kosteniuk.

All games in round three were decisive. Certainly the Indian chess fans are pleased that their players are occupying top two places as Harika Dronavalli beat Olga Girya to emerge clear second with 2,5/3 points.
