Schachfestival Dresden e.V., German Chess Federation and sponsor UKA have announced the German Women Masters tournament which will be held from 16-25th November at the Hotel Wyndham Garden in Dresden.
The tournament format will be 10-player round robin with the prize fund of 10,000 EUR.
IM Elisabeth Pähtz and top three finishers from the previous German Championship – Hanna-Marie Klek, Zoya Schleining and Martha Michna, are automatically seated in the event.
For the remaining places nominated are Tatjana Melamed, Melanie Ohme, Ketino Kachiani-Gersinska, Sarah Hoolt, Judith Fuchs und Filiz Osmanodja.
