IM Gunay Mammadzada wins Bydgoszcz Fundacja Orlen WGM 2022

The Bydgoszcz Fundacja Orlen WGM tournament took place June 25-July 4, 2022, in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Ten world-class female players took part in the event which was played in 9 rounds, with the time control of 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting on move one.

IM Gunay Mammadzada clinched the victory scoring an unbeaten 6 points. IM Alina Kashlinskaya won the last round to leap on the shared second place with GM Antoaneta Stefanova. Having better tiebreaks, Kashlinskaya won silver, while Stefanova came third. (Scroll down for final rankings)
