The Jerusalem Chess Masters is going to take place in Jerusalem, November 30 – December 3, 2025. Jerusalem Chess Masters will be a rapid chess event, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, headed by Minister Mickey Zohar, the Jerusalem Municipality, headed by Moshe Leon, and the Israeli Chess Association.
12 players will participate in the competition: 5 players from the Israeli national team, 5 top chess players from around the world, and the top 2 winners from the Jerusalem Open 2025. Currently confirmed players are Arjun Erigaisi (who is now at the quarterfinals in the World Chess Cup 2025), Ian Nepomniachtchi, Viswanathan Anand, Vladimir Fedoseev, Peter Svidler, Maxim Rodshtein, Emil Sutovsky, Ido Gorshtein, Yahli Sokolosky, and Avital Boruchovsky.
