Nakamura playing chess in Madrid’s park #TweetOftheDay

Hikaru Nakamura decided to spend Friday evening playing chess in Madrid’s park! After today’s 7-minute draw against Ian Nepomniachtchi, Hikaru basically provided himself with an extra free day. With 12 played rounds at the FIDE Candidates Tournament, Nakamura ties for second place with Ding Liren. The stakes for second place are high with Carlsen still unsure about defending the World Champion title.

Saturday is the last resting day of the Candidates Chess Tournament, and the games continue on Sunday from 15:00 CEST. Replay Round 12 here
