The largest chess piece in the world set in Sautron, France #TweetOftheDay

Simultaneously with the 20th Sautron International Chess Open which takes place from 3-10 July at the Espace Phelippes Beaulieux, the Sautron Chess Club set the largest chess piece in the world. With the size exceeding 6.30 meters in height, a diameter of 3 meters and weighing 3.8 tons, the wooden chess King was installed by a crane in Sautron, France and it unofficially broke a Guinness World Record hold by the World Chess Museum in Saint Louis. The inauguration of the largest chess piece in the world took place on Thursday, July 7.
