The Dutch Youth Championship is taking place from April 30 – 6 May 2023 in Almelo, Netherlands. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The tournament is separated in 6 categories U18 / U16 / U14 / Girls U18 / Girls U16 / Girls U14.
The U18 section is 7-round Swiss system tournament with participation of Loek Van der Hagen, Leandro Slagboom, Dylan Achuthan, Jurriaan Boeren, Vadim Van Kuijk, Arthur De Winter, Jael Wierenga, Jelle Smid, etc.
