Yuniesky Quesada tops Southern Open in Orlando

The 21st Annual Southern Open was held on July 26-28, 2013, at the Wyndham Orlando Resort, 8001 International Drive, Orlando, Florida.

The event was held in five sections (Open, U2100, U1800, U1500, U1200) and the playing format was 5-round Swiss.

Cuban Grandmaster Yuniesky Quesada Perez took a clear first place in the Open Section with 4,5 points to win the top prize of 2000 USD. Florida resident GM Lars Bo Hansen is second with 4,0 points.
