GM Nikola Mitkov first in Chicago Class

The 6th Annual Chicago Class took place on 19-21st July at the Westin North Shore Hotel in Wheeling, Illinois.

The tournament was played in eight sections and over five rounds of Swiss system.

Grandmaster Nikola Mitkov won the Open section with 4,5/5 points, half a point ahead of Cuban Grandmasters Yuniesky Quesada Perez and Aryam Abreu and local player Sam Schmakel.
