Lazaro Bruzon clear first in Azuqueca Chess Classic

The 1st Azuqueca Chess Classic, organized by the Equigoma Casa Social, took place on 15-22nd September at the Centro de Ocio Rio Henares in Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara province, Spain.

Cuban Grandmaster Lazaro Bruzon crowned his good form by emerging clear winner with 7,0 points from nine games. Four players followed on the shared second place.

The tournament was played over nine rounds of Swiss system. Top prizes were 1000 € / 600 € / 400 € / 200 € / 100 €.
