“Liburnija” Rijeka is 2015 Croatian Club Cup champion

croatia-flagThe 24th Croatian Cup took place from 20-24th May, in Bol, a town on the south of the island of Brač in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia.

The event was a 6-round Swiss team event with an average Elo rating of 2223.

Chess Club “Liburnija” Rijeka with members GM Ivan SaricGM Robert MarkusGM Zoran JovanovicGM Ognjen Jovanic and IM Blazimir Kovacevic emerged a winner with 11 match points and 18 individual points.

“Solin-Cemex” Solin remained second with the same amount of match points but only 17,5 individual points, while the club of “Zagreb” Zagreb finished on third position with 8 match points.
