Tamas Banusz wins Winter Sea Deluxe Open in Gabicce Mare

The 3rd Winter Sea Deluxe Open took place from 2-6th January, 2015, in Gabicce Mare, Italy, next to the Adriatic Sea.

Hungarian Grandmaster Tamas Banusz emerged victorious in the tournament after concluding the race with 7,0/9 points.

Banusz secured an early advantage with five wins in a row and then maintained the lead until the end with four safe draws.

On Wednesday afternoon Banusz will hold a simultaneous exhibition for amateurs at the Sala Capitolare del Complesso Monumentale di Sant’Agostino.
