French Team Championship | Top 16

The sixteen best teams in France participate in the French Team Chess Championship | Top 16 which takes place from 9-19 June in Chartres.

The clubs of C’Chartres Échecs, Villejuif, Bischwiller, Grasse Échecs, Chalons-en-Champagne, Club 608 – Paris, Tremblay-en-France, Metz Fischer, Vandoeuvre Échecs, Agen, THF de Saint-Quentin, Mulhouse Philidor, Lyon Olympique Chess, the Erdre Chessboard, Clichy Chess 92 and Asnières – the Grand Chessboard are represented by world-known grandmasters, such as: Andrey Esipenko, Arjun Erigaisi, Gawain Jones, Rauf Mamedov

Teams are divided into two pools A and B, with each pool consisting of 8 teams that compete in a 7-round round-robin tournament. By the end of the pool phase, the first four of each group are placed in the upper pool, the last four in the lower pool. The games can be followed live daily on Chessdom.com.
