The 2014 edition of the Philippines International Chess Championship took place on 6-12th December 2014 at the Celebrity Sports Plaza in Quezon City, Philippines.

The event was organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP), under the auspices of FIDE, with assistance from Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Philippine Olympic Committee (POC).

The 10-round Swiss FIDE tournament with tempo of play 90′ + 30″ gathered 38 players from 6 different countries, including 13 GMs, 6 IMs, 6 FMs, 2 WIMs and 1 WFM.

The first place was shared in a four-way tie by Georgian GM Levan Pantsulaia (2583), Russian GM Ivan Popov (2622), Georgian GM Merab Gagunashvili (2579) and Armenian GM Avetik Grigoryan (2580) with 7/10 points each.

However, Pantsulaia prevailed on a superior tie-break score and grabbed the first prize of 5.000 $, Popov remained second, while Gagunashvili took the bronze.
