The 9th Leiden Chess Tournament 2015 took place from July 17 – 26, in the Leiden Denksportcentrum.

The event was a 9-round Swiss open with tempo of play 90′/40 + 30′ + 30″.

Top seed player GM David Howell defeated GM Marian Petrov in the last round of the tournament to emerge a convincing winner with 8.5/9 points.

The game between GM Evgeny Postny and GM Predrag Nikolic ended in a draw, so that  Postny came up second with 7 points, while Nikolic remained third with 6.5 points.
