Monaco Teams for 44th Chess Olympiad 2022 announced

The 44th Chess Olympiad 2022 takes place from 28th July – 10th August in Chennai, India, and 100 countries already registered for the event. A number of countries revealed the composition of their teams for Chennai, such as: Germany, Spain, Kenya, India, Sri Lanka, Malawi

Monaco Chess Federation joined them and disclosed who will travel to India to represent Monaco at the 44th Chess Olympiad:

Monaco Team (Open Section):

  1. GM Igor Efimov (2370)
  2. GM Amir Bagheri (2493)
  3. Carl Johan Ribbegren (2198)
  4. FM Patrice Verdier (2029)
  5. FM Patrick Van Hoolandt (2061)

Monaco Team (Women’s Section):

  1. WGM Tatiana Dornbusch (2249)
  2. WIM Martine Dubois (1777)
  3. WCM Kenia Jose Polanco (1787)
  4. WIM Julia Lebel-Arias (1664)
  5. Fiorina Berezovsky (1493)

The Open team will be captained by Yulia Loseva, and the captain of the Women’s team will be Svetlana Berezovska. 15-year-old Fiorina Berezovsky will be the youngest Monaco competitor in India. All Chess Olympiad 2022 news
